Alaoil Licence
This 44,000 acre onshore licence is in the Atyrau area which area is one of the most prominent oil producing areas in Kazakhstan eg; the Tengiz Field (Chevron); the Kashagan Field (Shell, Total, Exxon and ENI). A pipeline terminal is situated within this licence.
Chengiz-Telsu Licence
This 230,000 acre onshore licence is in the Uralsk area of Kazakhstan. The licence is in close proximity to significant oil and gas producing fields eg; Zhanazhol (CNPC) and Karachaganak.
Based on an evaluation by a major service company, estimated recoverable volumetric reserves of 114.8 mmbo was obtained in the Chengiz Field including C3 in salt trapped bodies. The Telsu Field shares similar features and prospectivity.
Both licences have extensive 2D and 3D seismic coverage. The oil contained in the licence is between 27º to 30º API sweet oil. The Company plans to re-process and re-interpret the 2D and 3D seismic for post salt (above salt) and pre salt (below salt) reservoirs.
